Malina Roshan practices primarily in the areas of criminal and family law.
Malina provides a unique perspective to her clients. She has worked in the justice system as a prosecutor, a defence lawyer and as a clerk to a judge. Prior to opening her own practice, Malina worked at the Crown Attorney’s Office, a prominent Toronto defence firm and clerked for a Regional Senior Judge of the Ontario Court of Justice. Malina has also participated in the Family Law Information Centre at the Superior Court of Justice and provided legal research to professors in the areas of child protection, custody, access and child and spousal support.
In addition to her private practice in criminal and family law, Malina continues to conduct criminal prosecutions for the Ministry of Attorney General (Ontario).
Malina regularly appears in court to ensure that the rights of her clients are defended. The justice system can be intimidating and overwhelming which is why Malina makes it a habit to personally interact with all her clients to update them on their file and walk them through the process.
Malina received her law degree from the University of Windsor and her Honours Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Criminology, Political Science and French from the University of Toronto.
Malina is a good standing member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
