Malina A. Roshan B.A. (Hons.), J.D.
Barrister & Solicitor

Malina Roshan practices primarily in the areas of criminal and family law. She regularly appears in court to ensure that the rights of her clients are defended. The justice system can be intimidating and overwhelming which is why Malina makes it a habit to personally interact with all her clients to update them on their file and walk them through the process.
Malina provides a unique perspective to her clients. She has worked in the justice system as a prosecutor, a defence lawyer and as a clerk to a judge. Prior to opening her own practice, Malina worked at the Crown Attorney’s Office and a prominent Toronto defence firm. As well, she has clerked for a Regional Senior Judge of the Ontario Court of Justice in the area of family law. Malina has also participated in the Family Law Information Centre at the Superior Court of Justice. While at the Faculty of Law, she was a legal research assistant to two professors, advising them of changes in relation to the areas of child protection and custody and the spousal support regime, respectively.

In addition to her private practice in criminal and family law, Malina continues to conduct criminal prosecutions for the Ministry of Attorney General (Ontario).

Malina received her law degree from the University of Windsor and her Honours Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Criminology, Political Science and French from the University of Toronto.

Malina is a good standing member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

OUR TEAM

Aditya (Eddy) Choudhary
Aditya is a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada. He also holds diplomas from Humber College as a Court and Tribunal Agent and Immigration Consultant. At present, Aditya is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at York University in Public Policy. Aditya works in the personal injury department of the firm. He represents clients at mediations and pre-arbitrations hearings before the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. Aditya is also fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.

Mariyam J Khan
Mariyam is the Senior Real Estate Legal Assistant. She brings over 15 years of extensive real estate law experience to our office.  Mariyam helps clients make prudent decisions when it comes to buying, selling or refinancing their homes. Mariyam also speaks Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.

Silvia Venegas
Silvia is the Senior Accident Benefit Law Clerk to the firm. Silva holds over ten years of experience in dealing with Accident Benefits’ claims. She is also fluent in Spanish. 

Pargeet Gill
Pargeet Gill works as a law clerk in the real estate department of the firm and oversees the account management of all real estate deals. Pargeet also speaks Hindi and Punjabi.

Izabella Ordones
Izabella is an Accident Benefits law clerk to the firm. She handles accident benefit and slip and fall claims. Izabella is also fluent in Portuguese.  

Shakera Shams
Shakera holds a bachelors degree in Art and Science from York University. She is currently employed as a law clerk to the firm. Shakira also speaks Hindi and Urdu.

Julie Salter
Julie works as a legal assistant to the law firm. Her involvement is in Accident Benefits and Tort claims.

Sobia Mansoor
Sobia works in our immigration department and looks forward to beginning her paralegal studies at Humber College. Sobia also speaks Hindi and Urdu.
